Admission Test For Primary School On 23rd June 2018

This unprecedented moment was inked on chapter of east kameng’s history. In response to prolonged yearning for knowledge by the local tribe community - Ramakrishna Mission’s educational venture based on Swami Vivekananda’s Vedantic Philosophy opens new horizon in this very remote part of North-East. This was felt while overwhelming 1050 nos. of Admission Forms were sold in 10 days only for Class 1 and Class 2, for ‘non residential’ RKM Primary School at Lumdung on early June 2018. The first ever admission test for Class 1 and Class 2 was conducted by Ramarkrishna Mission Lumdung which, was held on 23rd June, 2018 at Govt. HSS, Seppa. It was a big challenge due to man-power shortage as well as such event for the first of its kind in Seppa. The small hill town experienced a big traffic jam on this day faced incidentally by Hon’ble Home Minister and the Chief Secretary,GoAP who came to Seppa for official visit. This daunting task was far more impossible without the support of all the teachers and staffs of the GHSS, Seppa and VKV, Wessang, local community as well. Secretary Maharaj, Sw. Sarvagananda extended thanks to all who participated to organize the initial admission test denying the nature’s hostile appearance on that very day.
