Foundation Day On 9th October 2018

By the grace of the Holy Trio the Foundation Stone Laying ceremony was exquisitely brought about with wonderful team-spirit on 9th October, 2018, the auspicious day-one of Nava Ratri. This was the second milestone event in the history of Ramakrishna Mission Lumdung preceded by the former one i.e. the inauguration of the Primary School “Ramakrishna Mission Shishu Vidyamandir”, at Lumdung on the 11th September, 2018. Hon. Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Sri Pema Khandu, and Sri Kiren Rijiju, Hon. Union Minister of State & Home Affairs, Rev. Swami Bodhasarananda ji Maharaj, Asstt. General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Mission and other honorable MLAs, dignitaries felicitated by the Founder Secretary Rev. Swami Sarvagananda Maharaj, RKM, Lumdung and other Senor Monks of RKM. The children of Class 1 and Class 2 of the ShishuVidyamandir received the guests at the Puja premises and auspicious vedic mantras were chanted by monks and bramacharins of RKM. All the guests and the Secretary, RKM, Lumdung laid the foundation stone followed by symbolic Tree Plantation program by all dignitaries on the adjacent land. The honourable guests were escorted by the students of EMRS, Bana with Band Party to the main Venue. The hilltop was prepared for about 5000 people, the entire audience who came from three districts of Arunachal Pradesh to attend the grand ceremony. Cultural activities were performed by the local tribe. All were entertained with sumptuous lunch later. The VIP’s had a separate venue for lunch near the main pandal.
