Progress Of Construction Work

Construction Work was initiated in Nov. 2018 with earth cutting.

Currently construction of 7 BLOCKS are in progress:

Different blocks have been given new names for Identification as well as sanctification :

Boys’ Academic Block : Vivekananda Bhavan

( Swami Vivekananda is no doubt the unanimous Youth Leader of our country. Our students must imbibe the spirit of Swami Vivekananda and dedicate themselves for the Nation at large. This nomenclature does not need much explanation as to why this Boys’ Academic Block has been identified as Vivekananda Bhawan )

WORK PROGRESS : of Civil Construction: 25% remaining; Fund provided PROFILACTIC EXTRA WORK REQUIRED : Drainage system and Guard Wall and Apron needed to protect the building (estimate : Rs. 35.00 lakh)

Girls’ Academic Block : Ma Sarada Bhavan

( Sri Sri Ma Sarada Devi was an ideal character for women of India. The more the nation is progressing and prospering, it appears the more the relevance of Sri Sri Ma Sarada Devi is being felt by people who really love to see a spiritual India. And India needs the rise of women power in a perfect positive direction which one can get from the life story of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. Relevantly the Girls’ Academic Block is dedicated with the name of Holy Mother Sarada Devi. )

Activity Block : Nivedita Bhavan

( This is the Laboratory cum Auditorium block for the students. As Sister Nivedita, disciple of Swami Vivekananda was ever keen to promote technical education among the Indian youths and wanted all technical development to be done in perfectly indigenous way, the block has been names as Nivedita Bhavan to commemorate her sesquicentennial birth anniversary in 2017 when our center was started at Lumdung )

Dispensary Block : Akhandananda Bhavan

( Swami Akandanandaji Maharaj was a disciple of Sri Ramakrishna. In 1898 he face acute drought in Murshidabad District and started collecting food for the starving people. He was the pioneer of the Service Activities of Ramakrishna Mission. This block will be used for Health Care of local people and hence the Service Activity will for ever remind us the passion of Swami Akhandanandaji for his great unselfish service to the society)

Computer Block : Vijnanananda Bhavan

( Swami Vijnananandaji Maharaj was a Civil Engineer working in Uttarpradesh when Swami Vivekananda came back from America. He used to come to Dakshineswar and was an ardent disciple of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna. Later when he met Swami Vivekananda, he decided to become a monk. He was the architect of the all time great temple of Sri Ramakrishna at Belur Math, Howrah. He was a technical person and the vocational training centre therefore is named after Swami Vijnanananda )

Admin Block : Saradananda Bhavan

( Ramakrishna Mission is now an international organization started right in 1897 by Swami Vivekananda at Kolkata. The Motto of Ramakrishna Mission was determined by Swami Vivekananda as : “Atmano Mokshartham Jagaddhitaya Cha” – which emphasises on the Spiritual Emancipation of mankind along with simultaneous well-being and prosperity in the material society. For this Technical knowledge and Spiritual knowledge must go hand in hand. Swami Saradananda, a disciple of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna, was the first Executive Head of this organization between 1898 and 1925 till his last breadth. He showed how Administration can stand up on spirituality for a successful organization like the Ramakrishna Mission. Naturally the Administrative Building should have a name signifying non other than the pioneer Administrator of the Mission.)

Kitchen Block : Premananda Bhavan

( Swami Premanandaji Maharaj was a disciple of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna and later he became the all in all at Belur Math, the monastery founded by Swami Vivekananda in the year 1900. Swami Premananda had a wonderful loving heart and everybody would feel that there is a hidden Mother in him. The motherly affection which even outsiders would receive from Swami Premananda was unique and they never forgot the golden moments they spent with him. Swami Premananda was a very high spiritual Yogi and that is why he could permeate his aggressive love to one and all without any discrimination. Since the Kitchen is considered the mother’s abode, our Kitchen cum Dining block is dedicated to Swami Premananda through a truly justified resolution.)
